Agreement
By creating an account or using TexoIQ, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What TexoIQ is
TexoIQ is a tool that helps tailors and bespoke designers run their studio, including client records, measurements, orders, quotes, invoices and assisted tasks. We may add, change or remove features as the product grows.
Your account
You must be at least eighteen and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has gained access.
The founding member offer
The first fifty studios to join receive the Studio tier free for one month from the date your account is activated. After that month ends, standard Studio pricing applies unless we tell you otherwise, and we will remind you before the free month is up so nothing is a surprise. This offer is limited to the first fifty genuine studios, and it may not be transferred or resold.
Acceptable use
Use TexoIQ for your own legitimate business. Do not use it to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to attempt to access other accounts, or to disrupt the service for others. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.
Your data and content
Everything you put into TexoIQ stays yours. We do not claim ownership of your client records, your designs or your business information. You give us only the permission we need to store and process it so the product works for you. You are responsible for having the right to hold the client information you enter, and for telling your own clients how their data is used.
Subscriptions and billing
When paid plans are live, you pay the fee for the tier you choose, billed in advance for the period shown at checkout. Payments are handled by our payment provider. You can cancel at any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give refunds for part periods unless the law requires it.
The assisted features
TexoIQ includes assisted tools that can draft messages, build quotes, suggest pricing and prepare actions for you. These are aids, not a replacement for your own judgement. Anything that sends a message or commits to a client waits for your approval first. We do our best to make these tools accurate, but you remain responsible for what you send and for checking the figures before you rely on them.
Availability
We work hard to keep TexoIQ running, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. We may carry out maintenance, and we are not liable for interruptions outside our reasonable control.
Our responsibility to you
We provide TexoIQ with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for any loss arising from your own failure to keep backups or to check assisted outputs before relying on them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that poses a security risk, or where we are required to by law. When an account closes, we delete its data as set out in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product develops. We will update the date at the top and tell you about anything significant. If you keep using TexoIQ after a change, you accept the new terms.
